A portrait by Grand Rapids photographer Steph Harding of Moxie Beauty & Hair Parlor owner Stephanie Strowbridge has won first prize in an international photography competition, FotoDC, and will be exhibited in the nation’s capital next month.

The competition culminates with a festival dubbed FotoWeekDC. The festival draws over 40,000 attendees in November to view exhibitions, attend workshops and explore the art of photography.
