Grand Rapids’ Restaurant Week Moving to August

Grand Rapids’ popular Restaurant Week will move to from November to August for its third installment in 2012 to better align with the existing convention schedule. 2011 brought in $20,393 for GRCC’s Secchia Institute of Culinary Education.

According to excerpts from MLive:

Convention and visitors bureau organizers announced today that Restaurant Week in Grand Rapids will move from late fall to late summer for its third incarnation.Doug Small, president of Experience Grand Rapids, announced the popular event, where area eateries showcase special course meals, will run Aug. 15 though 25 this year.
