Seeking opportunities to grow, the Hamilton Farm Bureau merges with national agribusiness giant CHS, Inc.

According to excerpts from the Holland Sentinel:

The Hamilton Farm Bureau has merged with a national agribusiness, hoping for more purchasing power, access to national markets and an open door for expansion.

The completion of a merger between Hamilton Farm Bureau and Fortune 100 company CHS Inc. was announced Thursday. The 1,900 farmers and West Michigan residents who owned stock in Hamilton Farm Bureau now own shares of the NASDAQ-listed CHS Inc
