Two area hospitals have agreed to help Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Institute collect samples for their expanded biorepository.

Saint Mary’s Health Care in Grand Rapids and Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon will collect the specimens – with patient consent – and transfer them to VAI’s program for biospecimen science, officials said Tuesday, Oct. 16.
