A growing Muskegon company plans to expand business operations, and that means new machining jobs for the area. Tax abatements and half-a-million in new equipment support the ambitious plans.

According to excerpts from the story:

A small but growing machine shop has received two property tax abatements that the owner hopes will put the company on course to create up to 150 new jobs in the next three to five years.

Air Foil International, 120 Port City Blvd., has created two subsidiary companies to expand the parent firm’s industrial machining of internal parts for jet engines and land-based gas turbines.

“I am committed to Muskegon County, investing in all three divisions with a goal of 50-75 employees at each division,” Kutches wrote city officials in applying for the tax breaks.
