Northpointe invests $6.4 million to boost recognition
Banking on its non-traditional personal loans and an expansive new building in a high-traffic location to bring in customers, bank officers expect business to be booming.
According to excerpts from the story:
Northpointe Bank has been around for seven years, but even bank leaders say they understand if people haven’t heard of the business yet.
They’re hoping that will change Wednesday with the grand opening of its new headquarters at the East Beltline and Int. 96.
The choice of its high-traffic new location, which replaces a leased space in a Cascade Township office park, was an intentional decision to raise the profile of Northpointe, not to mention give the steadily growing operation a little breathing room, Chief Executive Chuck Williams said.
The three-story, 65,000-square-foot bank building was built to be environmentally sensitive using Leadership in Environmental Engineering and Design standards (feel free to plug in your electric car at a charging station in the parking lot). Next door a new 150-room Country Inn and Suites and Uno’s Chicago Grill, both of which are still under construction.
