Ada parks may see $9.8M in improvements

Last year, Ada Township taxpayers approved a millage increase for improvements in parks and recreation facilities. Those improvements, including a bird watching platform and a grain silo observation deck, are expected to be approved by the Township Board this week.

According to excerpts from the story:

ADA TOWNSHIP — Visitors might one day be able to get a bird’s-eye view of the nearly 300-acre Roselle Park property by climbing 10 flights of stairs in a grain silo that has been converted into an observation deck.

The estimated $80,000 project is part of what township officials are calling “an ambitious program of improvements” to area parks in the next five years.
