Back To Bass-ics: Sounds of Summer Return Early to GR!

As the region ramps up its electronic music season, it is especially exciting to see My LeftStar Promotions bringing back, after a long winter hibernation, their popular summer of 2011 music series, Back To Bass-ics.

This series that attracted nearly 800 attendees at the end of their summer run bounces back into the Intersection Lounge’s main room this Friday night with an 18+showcase featuring a few artists from our local label, Drill Team Productions.

Back to Bass-ics is devoted to bass music and incorporates dubstep, drum and bass, and a touch of hip hop influences here and there.  

On the decks this evening will be many familiar faces of the underground nightlife scene from Antonio Bliss and Lady Reign (both artists with Drill Team) as well as William VanDyke (Dirty Beatz) and Electro House (and Grand Rapids) DJ, Sp Chase.

All four acts bring something unique to our city, so plan on staying long into the night to enjoy what each of these acts have to offer. And for those who need pizza post-show to soak up the fun, it is usually sold curbside so stuff some cash in your secret pocket along with an extra 20 spot to catch a cab to get you safely home.
