According to excerpts from the story:

When Dave Custer opened Custer Office Environments as Grand Rapids’ Steelcase dealer in 1981, it was a “win-win-win” situation. The failing dealership Custer replaced was able to focus on its strength in Detroit, Steelcase got a strong dealer presence in its hometown, and Dave Custer and his wife Karen were able to move back to Grand Rapids and raise their family in the place they considered home.

When Dave Custer talks about win-win-win situations today, he’s likely referring to his three sons — Scott, Mark, and Todd — who have all worked at or are working in the family business.

Todd, the youngest, signed on a month ago as a healthcare specialist. His focus is on West Michigan’s emerging healthcare industry.
