Construction company strives to build 200 churches
Dan Vos Construction Co. recently completed its 150th church – more than any other builder in West Michigan.
The Ada-based design-build general contractor celebrated the milestone with the churchgoers of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lowell Oct. 8. The congregation also celebrated its 150th anniversary during the inaugural service at the new church, its first new building in 150 years.
“We are now at three-quarters of our goal of building 200 churches, which we hope to achieve before I retire,” said Vos Construction CEO Gary Vos.
