Developer invests $3M more in North Monroe condo complex

By: Deborah Johnson Wood

In the last six months, an investment of $3 million in Boardwalk Condominiums has enabled completion of 67 residential balconies, a 30-foot swimming pool and pool area with landscaping and outdoor furniture, and a roof on the top (fifth) level of the parking structure. In addition, the facility will soon have signs to help visitors and residents find their way around.

“We have 400,000 square feet and 1.8 miles of hallways,” said developer Jon Rooks of Parkland Properties, the marketing agent for the project. “A wayfinding system is essential.”

The signage will also direct customers to each of the 19 businesses in the building.

A business directory near the front entry will point the way to businesses like Boardwalk Fitness, J.D. Reardon’s restaurant, and Liquid Cargo Coffeeshop, among others.

“We want to be sure our business tenants do well,” Rooks said. “Good signage will help us ensure their success.”
