Model condo complete, expected to spur sales at $17M Grand Haven development

The first cottage style residence of The Retreat, a 42-condo community at Grand Haven Golf Club, is completed and ready for interested buyers to tour.

“We really like the idea that you can create a resort feel out of an everyday situation,” says Mark Buddy, president of Redstone Group, the company developing the property. “When we think of resort condos we think of Traverse City or Florida, someplace far away. The condos are on the golf course, within walking distance to Lake Michigan and few minutes drive to downtown Grand Haven.”

The model features three bedrooms, three baths and an enclosed porch. The master suite has a tray ceiling, a walk-in closet and a bathroom with garden tub and walk-in shower. Two decks, one on the walkout level and one directly above, a patio and a fire pit provide space for entertaining and relaxation.

Granite countertops come standard in each of the four available floor plans, which range from two bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths to four bedrooms and four baths. Prices run from the $270s to the low $300s.

To-date, buyers have purchased three of the condos—two along the golf course and one with frontage on a pond on the property.

Redstone Group is the builder and general contractor. Design Plus is the architect. Lisa Keller and Becky Schrotenboer are handling the interior design.
