The grand opening of Skinny's Café, located at 100 Grandville Avenue, is scheduled for October 17, 2006.
“It should be a fantastic addition to our building,” said Chris Prins of NAI West Michigan. “Everyone’s looking forward to it opening.”
Co-owners Wade Kowalkowski and Steve Miedzielec also own Skinny’s Sandwiches and Pizza in Ramblewood Center.
“We were always looking to expand our locations, and we always thought of downtown,” Kowalkowski said. “We saw the location and it was the right fit.”
The café will be about 1,330 square feet with seating for thirty.
“We’ll do breakfast sandwiches, Danish, bagels, salads, lunch sandwiches, soups, and panninis,” Kowalkowski said. “We’re looking to serve the employees in our building and the surrounding area around the Van Andel Arena.”
Skinny’s will be open on weekdays from 7AM to 4PM.
