You have to hand it to Grand Rapids Bar Crawl’s husband-and-wife team Rich and Angela Haralson; they know how to make dress-up fun.

It you have been following their antics over the years, then you know this is the couple who has created the ultimate party bus, taking guests on a wild ride all over town about once every six weeks and usually with a wild theme.

For the low cost of $40/ person, Angela says, “You get a reserved seat on the bus that will take you to a series of secret locations where you will receive VIP service all night long with no cover charges, no waiting in lines and even get to take part in drink specials, party games and more!”

This time around, the bus will be packed with up to 20 Elvis’ ranging from Blue Hawaii Elvis to even the white, oh-so-tight jumper of sweaty Las Vegas Elvis.

Places like the Kostume Room on 36th Street in Wyoming have plenty of options. Should you want to get your “hair did” by a pro, them book some time with Jodi Rietberg Schmalz who will be offering a $15 hair only and a $25 hair and makeup package.  (See her on Facebook or call 616-821-3433.)

So whether you are going to dress up to board the bus or will just be out on the town, Viva Elvis is definitely a reason to not stay at home this Saturday night.

G-Sync Hint: The party always starts and ends at Sazerac.
