Rapid Growth's October speaker series will focus on the issues surrounding food justice and building a sustainable, healthy food system that is readily available to our entire population, not just the wealthy areas.
Come join us in the Baxter Community Center's mezzanine area above their pantry (entrance on the north side of the building off of Bemis St. SE). You'll also get a chance to tour their new greenhouse prior to the program.

Our panelists will include Danielle Veldman of Baxter Community Center, Jennifer Gray of Access of West Michigan, Tempest Warfield of YMCA's Healthy Living Program, Lisa Oliver King from Our Kitchen Table and Kids' Food Basket.
Excellent grub will be provided by the Silver Spork Food Truck and the YMCA Veggie Van. We'll also be serving homemade soda produced by the folks at Baxter Community Center.
