According to excerpts from the story:

Grand Rapids Community College dedicated one of its buildings today to two major donors. The school renamed its North Building the Peter and Pat Cook Academic Hall in honor of the local philanthropist and his wife.

Cook, a former car distributor, gave the school more than $4 million as part of a new fundraising effort for the community college.

“I was greatly impressed that the students here are so dedicated to the school,” Cook said. “They appreciate the fact that they can come here at a much lower tuition than other schools.”
