The
Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced several promotions and new hires to its core team.
According to President & CEO Rick Baker, the additions will help keep the organization nimble. "The world's changing," he says. "We have to move quickly [and] be able to tweak the services we offer. There are new expectations and new needs of our members."
With workforce needs evolving rapidly, current members are looking for solutions to a variety of contemporary issues. Baker goes on to explain that the sales team will now have more focused responsibilities. "One position will focus on recruiting new members," he says. "The other position will focus on membership services and retainment."
The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce currently provides services to its 2700 member businesses.
