New service at Watermark Center adds job

Watermark Center, an innovative event space, has been a steady and creative presence in Muskegon's downtown district.

"We have been wildly successful," says Sarah Rooks, president. "We're booking events into 2014."

To help support this growth, Rooks recently hired Luke Sass. As creative director, Sass will be responsible for the growth of Watermark Live, an event planning and production service that helps keep the event center booked and produces programs at other locations, such as a recent show at Frauenthal Theater.

The Watermark Center also provides many indirect job opportunities. "We hire sound engineers, moderators and technical support for the events we have on site", says Rooks.
