Diversified Medical Staffing, LLC (DMS) has had a very nice run as of late.
According to President Charlie Ferro, who bought the company in 2008 after working there many years, the firm has doubled both in revenue and staff in the last two years.
Ferro credits many reasons for the growth including "highly motivated employees, the growth of the medical mile and our overall diversification."
As their company name implies, Ferro lists the multiple niches within the healthcare industry that his team can provide services: in-patient staffing, clinics, labs, nurse practitioners, LPNs, billers, RNs, coders and several other positions within various health care settings.
Ferro indicates he is always looking for good people to join his team with one caveat: experience needed. "When clients hire us they expect someone who can step in and do the job immediately," he says.
Ferro suggests that for recent grads or anyone interested in getting into the healthcare sector, it is best to get experience any way you can.
"Volunteering is a great way build your resume and it shows an employee you are serious about a career in that industry," he suggests.
