Clark Hill West Michigan expanding and adding jobs in the Grand Rapids area

In the last nine months, Clark Hill West Michigan has added five new lawyers to the firm and expanded their office by over 4,000 square feet to accommodate the growth.

According to Dave Centner, member at the Grand Rapids office, the recent additions are part of a growth trend the office has maintained since opening. "We opened in Grand Rapids in 2006 and now have 26 lawyers. I think the growth in West Michigan is unique. There is no one reason, but we have created a wonderful place to work, invested in technology, and [we] continue to serve our customers well."

Centner also points out that the combination of a strong organizational culture and a vibrant city is a tremendous asset when recruiting and retaining talent in the region. "The Clark Hill culture begins with an open door policy. We are very collaborative between practice groups and very team-oriented. The legal community in the area and the high level of professionalism are second to none. The city sells itself. In the summer, the streets are busy, and then you add ArtPrize in the fall."
