Construction firm adds jobs and transitions leadership

It's been a year of growth and change for Dan Vos Construction Company (DVCC).

According to Dan Vos, the construction firm added 12 full-time jobs and six seasonal positions in the past year. "We have seen pretty good growth in the last couple years. We are serving our existing clients and they were growing." Vos highlights both food processing and the pharmaceutical industry as the primary industries of DVCC's focus.

The change for DVCC comes from the top, as Vos takes over for the recently retired president, Gordon DeYoung, who was with the firm for 47 years. Vos is the grandson of the DVCC founder Daniel R. Vos, who started the firm in 1951.

With a staff of 80 people, Vos does not anticipate any immediate hiring needs in addition to the new jobs in the past year.
