Digital and interactive signage firm poised for growth

Grand Rapids-based Freshwater Digital Media Partners (Freshwater DMP) is poised to take a leading role in the emerging digital and interactive signage space.

Jonathan Dodge, senior VP, business development, of the three-person firm, explains the benefits of digital signage in the retail industry. "Signage is extremely important in driving decision making," he says. "Traditional signage can tell price or locations, but digital sign can show how to use the product."

Dodge goes on to explain how interactive signage can transform any DIY section of retailers by providing detailed information on product usage and possibilities.

Freshwater DMP was founded by  Matt Downey in 2010 and immediately took on a Grand Rapids-based superstore as its first client. Dodge was brought on in 2011 along with Jeff Wylie, the firm's creative director.

All three members of Freshwater DMP have years of experience in the retail industry and the digital industry, and have developed a strong strategic network of partners to provide a comprehensive solution for their customers.
