Plastic surgery group moving to expanded state-of-the-art facility, anticipates new jobs

The Centre for Plastic Surgery is moving to a new facility after calling Michigan Ave. home for 25 years.

According to Dr. Scott Brundage, senior partner, the move reflects change in the industry and also allows the firm to leverage newer technology design in a fresh setting. "When we originally opened 25 years ago, it was felt you needed to be in a medical area," Brundage says, "but that is not necessarily the case any longer."

The new facility will be located in an 11,500-square-foot surgical center at the Heritage Pointe office building on East Paris Ave SE. It is scheduled to be completed in June 2013. The state-of-the-art facility will allow the firm to continue and enhance its commitment to the client experience. Brundage says, "We're no different than a high-end hotel; you expect be treated very well. We do that now, but the difference will be a better facility."

With the move to a new, larger building, Brundage anticipates adding several new jobs. "We expect to be busier and add jobs in clinical side along with other areas once we get settled in."
