Northpointe Bank's new location brings 75 jobs to GR
The creation of a new bank headquarters on East Beltline will bring 75 jobs to Grand Rapids as the bank consolidates employees there and intends to add more.
Seven-year-old
Northpointe Bank spent $6.4 million on the three-story, 65,000-square-foot building at East Beltline and I-96.
“This new building not only represents the growth of Northpointe Bank, but it also demonstrates our dedication to growing with the greater Grand Rapids community,” says vice president of planning and people development Scott Patchin of the new building, which replaced a leased space in a Cascade Township office park.
Patchin says the bank hopes to attract new customers through top-of-the-market interest rates, their new location and innovative products, says Patchin.
While offering mortgages and personal and small business loans, the company specializes in what it calls its “non-conforming” loans, which is for properties such as hunting cabins, hobby farms and acreage for mobile homes.
