Outperforming teams from Vanderbilt, the University of California, and other top institutions, Cooley Law School's student law squad finished among the top eight in the nation at the final round of the National Moot Court Competition.
At the start, the competition included 157 law schools. But judges ultimately said decided the Cooley team stood out based on exceptional arguments and style of presentation. After a series of regional competitions, the final round was recently held in New York Cit
"These students have given the Cooley community many reasons to smile," said Evelyn Tombers, a Cooley associate professor. "I'm honored to have been able to coach such talented, motivated people."
