DeVos Children's Hospital announces new operations VP

Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital announced the promotion of Matthew M. Davis to vice president of operations.

Davis, who previously served as director of physician practices for the Children’s Hospital and Spectrum Health Primary Care Partners, will be responsible for hospital operations, business development, strategic planning, as well as overseeing the management of employed physician practices.

Davis' previously held senior financial management positions at various firms, including Deloitte & Touche, LLP, an accounting and consulting firm.

Davis received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and has practiced as a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, a member of Spectrum Health, is West Michigan's largest children's hospital, serving children and families throughout a 37-county region. The team includes more than 100 specialists uniquely skilled in providing medical care to children, in over 40 outpatient clinical settings.
