Harvard business professor to speak at GVSU

Harvard Business School Professor Lynda Applegate will be in town next week to share her insights on how entrepreneurs and business can compete successfully in a world undergoing intense and rapid changes due to technological innovation, globalization, regulation, and other worldwide mega trends.

The event, titled "Don't Get Left In The Dust: Building Businesses in Turbulent Times," is sponsored by Knoware and Business Review. It is scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, January 17, in Grand Valley State Univeristy's Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences. The cost is $35, or $30 for BioTech Connect members, and includes breakfast and lunch.

Applegate teaches courses in entrepreneurial management and technology and innovation at Harvard. She also serves as head of the school’s Field-Based Learning programs.
