Grand Rapids-based Howard PC owes a 20 percent boost in revenue to its presence on the Internet, and that growth has helped the two-year-old firm jump from three lawyers to five.
“People all over the world need legal help in Michigan,” says Bill Howard, partner in the firm with Jean Treece. “We probably get a client a week from China who finds us through the Internet. And in the state, most immigrants use the Internet, they find us, too.”
In addition to the two attorneys, the firm added a full-time administrative assistant and moved its offices to 25 Ionia SW after completing a $30,000 buildout.
“We expect revenues to increase this year by 30 percent,” Howard adds, “and most of that is because of the Internet.”
The firm handles all types of legal matters, including litigation, construction, corporate and real estate law.
