This month, award-winning Grand Rapids public relations and investment relations firm Lambert, Edwards & Associates marks its 10th anniversary with 18 percent revenue growth since 2007, an office expansion and four new jobs, raising the total number of employees to 25.

“We’ve had nine straight years of growth,” says Jeff Lambert, president and managing partner. “We’re a top 100 firm in the PR industry, and top 25 in the investor relations base, and we can be truly national with 90 clients in 19 states and five countries.”

LE&A logged revenues of over $4 million in 2008, up from $70,000 when the firm launched in 1998. Located in the National Bank building downtown, the company recently expanded into 30 percent more space in anticipation of adding 30 percent more jobs over the next three years.

“Because we’re a service firm, we can grow jobs in West Michigan while we grow our business elsewhere,” Lambert adds.

The company started in Lambert’s basement, but as soon as he could make the move he relocated downtown to be “where the action is.” The latest office expansion is the third one since moving into the National Bank building six years ago and increases the firm’s space to 10,000 square feet.
