Chinese lessons prepare W MI students for global economy

With China rising as a powerful and influential force in the knowledge economy, a duo of Michigan educational organizations is inviting every high school in the state to participate in an online Chinese language and culture course.

The overarching goal is to equip students with the skills and cultural understanding necessary to gain a competitive edge in a global economy where Chinese companies continue to emerge as major players.

Students from regional high schools such as Lowell, Fennville, East Grand Rapids, and several other are already enrolled in the program.
