Zeeland-based Lakeshore Advantage recently announced the launch of an online resource where Lakeshore Business Garden companies can post ideas, challenges, and get feedback from area business leaders on a variety of business topics. Called Garden Space: An Entrepreneurial Forum, the online service is a unique development in entrepreneurial support services.
Discussion categories for the forum include sales and marketing, finance, business law, and human resources. Representatives from Trendway, Disher Design, National City Bank, and other lakeshore businesses monitor specific sections.
"This virtual forum is for young, or not so young, people who have a dream to successfully start a new business in our community," says Bill Bundy, president of Trendway. Bundy is the online monitor of the strategic planning and leadership category.
Entrepreneurs have access to the virtual forum through participation in the Lakeshore Business Garden Virtual Tenant program. Membership as a Virtual Tenant is $50 per month and includes the use of the facilities, and participation in the entrepreneurial roundtables, workshops, advisory program, and quarterly review process.
