One week after confirming the location of the Grand Rapids arm of its College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University solidified a partnership with Grand Valley State University to collaborate and pursue joint research and academic projects.
GVSU joins Van Andel Institute, Spectrum Health, and St. Mary's hospital in what has become a nationally unique model for planning, building, and operating a public insititution of higher education.
MSU's first students are expected to continue their education in Grand Rapids as earlier as next year.
