A solid base of companies that create a diversity of products for customers like Starbucks and the defense industry have kept Muskegon moving toward the future. Muskegon Area Chamber of Commerce Chariman Bob Cutler says these companies are successfully doing business despite the struggling regional and state economies.
"Just because you're told an economy is poor doesn't mean you have to participate," Cutler said. "What we're doing today is critical for the next generation."
