Doctors Paul Crosby and Cara Wallace have joined Pine Rest’s outpatient psychiatry team.
Dr. Crosby primarily works with children and adults at the Pine Rest Clinic in Traverse City Clinic. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with mental health concerns, particularly those patients with post traumatic stress and attachment disorders.
Dr. Crosby received his medical degree and completed psychiatry residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. He also completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and co-authored a chapter on pediatric psychopharmacology in a pediatrics textbook scheduled for publication in 2007.
Dr. Wallace will help staff Pine Rest's Southwest Clinic in Grandville where she will work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Dr. Wallace received her medical degree from the Loma Linda University, California and completed a psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services was founded in 1910 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pine Rest offers one of the nation’s largest team of psychiatrists and extensive network of nurses, psychologists, social workers, educators, and clergy.
More specifically, the staff includes some 35 psychiatrists and physicians; more than 35 fully-licensed psychologists; more than 40 limited-licensed psychologists; more than 115 licensed masters-level social workers; and 10 physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Pine Rest's current interim president and CEO Mark Eastburg will ascend to permanent chief at the start of the New Year.
