With the upcoming launch of two new products, Quality Edge is creating a new product line and expects the increased sales and production will mean more manufacturing and sales jobs. The company, a producer of aluminum gutters, gutter protection, fascia, soffits, and steel and aluminum siding, will soon manufacture interior design products.
“We have diversified with an interior wall system, a very rugged steel studded product with metal panels that make a wall look like it’s floor to ceiling wood,” said Lisa Tallarico, marketing director. “It’s great for hospital lobbies and schools because it can be scrubbed without scratching and it’s a green product.”
Coordinating tiles use the same wood grain product to create the look of “a rich wood ceiling, previously available only in very exclusive properties,” said Tallarico. “It’s really quite exquisite.”
Quality Edge, 2712 Walkent Drive, has been in business since 1995. A number of expansions of their manufacturing and retail space have brought the facility up to 200,000 square feet. The company currently employs 150.
