Qonverge doing advertising the new way

A trio of creative minds in Muskegon joined forced last April to establish a new advertising and marketing firm called Qonverge.

The company is made up of Jason Piasecki, formerly owner of ImageQuest Design, a Web design and marketing firm, Andy Maciejewski, of Advanced Video Presentations and Tony Rubleski of Mindcapture marketing.

Qonverge offers video, podcasting, Web design, branding and marketing for small to medium-sized firms. Among their coolest work, is building the site for and branding the company My Way Storage.

Jason said the company specializes in new media, and unlike other advertising firms, its first step is to go digital and hit the Web, foregoing the print and broadcast mediums that have been the marketing mainstays for decades.

"We are working on some exciting projects," Piasecki said. The launch of the business "really exceeded our expectations."

The company has three full-time workers and seven other contract employees in Muskegon. It's housed in the Hume Building in downtown Muskegon.
