Roadcast Group is helping CEOs and CFOs everywhere have one-on-one time with investors, establish relationships with potential investors, and reach a broader audience than ever before—and nobody has to go on the road to do it. The key is Roadcast, an interactive virtual management presentation that enables companies to meet with investors via the Internet.
“The challenge with in-person meetings is that some companies have shareholders all over the world,” says Jeff Lambert, managing partner of Roadcast Group. “Companies literally go on the road and meet one-on-one with investors, and that takes a lot of time and money.”
Here’s how it works: a CEO is filmed standing in front of a green screen as he or she talks about business, the industry, updates, or financials. Charts and graphs, photos, PowerPoint presentations, or videos are added later, and the presentation is uploaded to the company’s website.
Investors then tune in to get answers, updates, or to learn more about the company. They navigate through the presentation using tabs that take them to the information they want to see.
“It’s individualized for a company,” Lambert says. “They can write their own script or we script it. We do the video, handle the technology, and help them decide who to target.”
Roadcast can be used in place of an in-person meeting, or as an introduction to a company before a one-on-one. And Lambert says it’s a key factor in reaching individual investors—persons management typically doesn’t have time to meet in person.
