Business leaders from Cascade Engineering, Steelcase, the U. S. Green Building Council, Herman Miller, and other Michigan businesses are scheduled to speak about sustainability as a source for promoting business and job growth at the Michigan Sustainable Business Forum Statewide Conference.
The speakers, representing a diverse group of industries, will discuss attracting talented employees, incentives for producing goods that are energy efficient, and methods for sustainable growth.
Breakout sessions will enable attendees to create viable action plans for promoting Michigan's commercial viability while still striving for the "triple bottom line" of economic viability, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.
The conference will be on April 25 at East Lansing's Hannah Center.
