Medical, security, and communication innovation top 2007 tech trends

The innovation of new medical products, security and communication devices, and robotics will lead the top technology trends of 2007, according to Keith Brophy, president of business development for NuSoft, a Michigan-based software development firm.

Brophy, who is based in Cascade, MI, will announce his annual Tech Trends Forecast tonight in an event at the Eberhard Center on the downtown campus of Grand Valley State University.

According to the Grand Rapids Business Journal, Brophy will present 10 specific trends, selected from hundreds of ideas, that he feels hold the most potential for tech-driven innovation and change in the coming year.
