Life Science Showcase grows from 10 to 50 exhibitors

The West Michigan Science and Technology Initiative will feature as many as 50 exhibitors during the 2007 Life Sciences Business Showcase

This is the third year of the event, which allows life science companies to display their marketing materials and distribute product samples.

"It is amazing to see the level of growth that the life science industry has experienced in the past several years," WMSTI executive director Matt Dugener told the Grand Valley State University News Center.

"When the first showcase took place there were 10 exhibitors, then the second year 20, and we are now at 50 exhibitors and triple the attendees. This is a great time for Michigan and more specifically Grand Rapids."
