Tax abatement serves as catalyst for Zeeland-based Highpoint Finishing Solutions as they plan to add 29 jobs in the next six months.

According to a story in the Holland Sentinel:

James Davis, co-owner of the Zeeland's Highpoint Finishing Solutions credits the right timing for the business expanding, not quite a year after taking over the facility and equipment of a closed operation.

Highpoint -- which processes a bright, high-luster finish for metal fixtures -- plans an investment of $379,000 in new equipment and could create as many as 29 new jobs over the next six months, according to a tax abatement granted to the company by Zeeland City Council on Tuesday.
