Kendall introduces nation’s first design and innovation MBA

Recognizing the growing importance of design innovation in successful business management, the Kendall College of Art and Ferris State University recently announced the two institutions will offer students a new course of study that leads to a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Design and Innovation Management.

The program, which combines and draws on the expertise of the college of business and the college of art and design, is said to be the first of its kind in the nation. The first students will enter the program this fall.

“[The new program] embraces collaboration as a means of producing the most relevant kinds of innovation, and as a means of moving design thinking to the center of the business process,” the two institutions said in a press release.
