Medical manufacturer to add 105 jobs, invest $12.4 million
The Tech Group, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based medical equipment manufacturer, plans to add 105 new positions and invest $12.4 million to upgrade its 77,000-square-foot injection molding facility in Walker to manufacture a new product line.
The state of Michigan granted a Single Business Tax credit for more than $1.8 million over seven years to win the company’s business. The city of Walker has proposed a 12-year property tax abatement valued at $936,619 to support the project.
