With an eye to quick and easy transportation between hot spots in downtown Grand Rapids and keeping that transportation ‘green,’ three pedi-cab companies are seeking the opportunity to provide big city, human-powered mobility around town. The city is drawing up guidelines for operation of the mini-taxis and should be ready for the entrepreneurs soon.

GRAND RAPIDS – Like many major U.S. cities, Grand Rapids may soon have pedicabs on the streets of its downtown district.
