Outdoor seating and live entertainment are two attractions the owners of the future Red Ball Jet Café hope to add to their new establishment. The proposal recently moved to the Board of Zoning Appeals.

The long-awaited Red Ball Jet Cafe may offer year-round outdoor dining and live music when it finally opens in the former Creston Library branch, according to its owners.

The city’s Planning Commission on Thursday approved the latest plans for the triangle-shaped landmark at 1431 Plainfield Ave. NE.
