RGTV: Evo Coffee Company

Evo Coffee was launched with the idea that maybe consumers in Grand Rapids can help support a remote village in Guatemala — if only a company could make the link.

In a bid to make the world a little better place, Evo Coffee in Grand Rapids pays higher than Fair Trade price for beans it buys directly from farmers in Guatemala. Co-Founder Rob Wondergem talks with Andy Dragt about how his company enlisted the aid of Lighthouse Village Ministries and MadCap Coffee to make a product that helps everyone: farmer, ministry and coffee afficionado.

Andy Dragt is a freelance digital storyteller who lives in Uptown. In a former life, he studied and worked as a construction manager. He is Rapid Growth’s resident vlogger. His life is broadcast to the interwebs here and at twitter, here.
