In an ongoing effort touting Michigan as one of the top choices for filmmaking, a Holland studio has signed on for three movies to be shot in Michigan. A Holland investment firm has jumpstarted the endeavor, estimated to cap off in the tens of millions.

TicTock Studios wants to give the sluggish Michigan economy a shot in the arm.
The Holland-based film production company announced a three-film deal with movies to be shot in Michigan, with a focus on finding locations in West Michigan.
The company paired up with A-G Capital of Holland for partial financing for the three films.
About $10 million has been raised, with A-G Capital providing a portion of the financing.
