It is not every day that a person has a chance to experience the debut of something new, but tucked away upstairs and to the left of the lobby of Studio Park is a new performance venue: Listening Room.
And on Wednesday, October 16, WGVU Public Radio and NPR invite you to the soft opening debut of
Listening Room with special guest Molly.
This ticketed, general admission event is part of a series of pop up shows that showcase Michigan artists and will give the public the opportunity to experience this intimate, 200-seat venue that is acoustically superior in every way.
And this freshness has Molly, who will be accompanied by Scott Schultz, excited for this special debut concert.
“It is exciting to see all these new spaces like Listening Room. This venue is going to usher in new musical experiences in our city,” says Molly, who is creating an eclectic show. “I am craving this kind of newness.”
