ZEELAND – Jan. 26, 2009 -- An exciting new statewide initiative is offering an innovative program to cultivate the Lakeshore’s technology sector and retain Michigan’s promising talent in the area. Called Momentum, the initiative is the combined effort of Lakeshore Advantage and a group of West Michigan investors, including The Windquest Group.
The backers of Momentum say the program is already soliciting applications for the inaugural class of participants, who will take part in the program this summer. Momentum is a seed stage funding and incubation program. It provides initial investments and business launch assistance to young entrepreneurs who have exceptional technology and web application ideas.
