The last time Grand Rapids witnessed people dancing to a set of keys being pounded in a club setting was back when a giant pipe organ pumped out pop tunes like Kool and Gang's Celebration at The Roaring 20's pizza parlor.
Flash forward 20 years and you have that chance again to dance to your favorite pop tunes but this time they are performed by two high-energy guys on dual instruments at Mojo's Piano Bar.
People often pack the standing room only bar to sling back brews and sing long with the impromptu performers who jump up to gyrate in song.
In a room that feels more like a high school reunion than a just another downtown bar, the energy level translates through the large glass windows that dare one not to look at the crowds dancing and singing around the pianos.
They do offer food but this is not what you came here for.
